vent wheel lighting

Hey guys,
I STFF but could not find much help about vent wheel lighting, has anybody done any work on this. It would be cool to have lighting similar to the Audi's

The C320's have it. I think you just need to order the leads and plug them in to the harness.

wait C320's even the 2005's have built in vent wheel lighting, so I am assuming all the base stuff is already there, just need to add the lights.

I believe what he is referring to is the a/c vent wheels on the dash...the position marker is lit with the dash lighting. They are lighted in my E320.

my 2001 C240 did not have vent wheel lighting, now the 2005 C230 does not WTF, in the middle they have it as an option need, I need to find a way to install those, I think they would look cool.

Mine is old enough - does not have either!

On the other hand, both these things can potentially distract when driving, so it is a good thing in the end!

2002 C230 Coupe(M111)

Its a nice bit of extra flash at night- especially over on the passenger side which is so dark. Anyone checked yet? I'm guessing you need the pigtails to plug into the main harness, and just fit the light into the center of the wheel...the Coupe wheels have the translucent markings, so they can transmit the light.
