Take a look at the price list for the c-coupe. The C200 SLK is actually cheaper than the coupe! With a list price of $383,000 and an exchange rate of 1 USD = 7.9 HK, you're looking at about $50 K US for a coupe. I'd say the prices here are looking pretty good!

it's because in US hatchback is not as well received as it is in other countries and they are discounting the SLK because it's probably in their last 2 years of model running

Why don't you compare like to like? The SLK230k is more expensive than the C230k and the SLK200k is more expensive that the C200k.

Yes there is only a $US2785 difference between the C230k and the SLK230k. But again, lets's compare like to like. The difference between the SLK230k and the CLK230k is $US1139.

Let's also remember that we don't know what is standard equipment on these cars. US cars usually have more content as standard equipment. It appears that the Singapore price include their very high import taxes.

Why aren't SLK's beeing dicounted here, if they are in Singapore.

As I remember, there is a 100% tax on cars in Hong Kong. That's why cars are almost double the price there.
