I've got a clicking noise from around the center console.
it increases and decreases along side acceleration and deceleration and also disappears when i turn left or right.
​​​​my mechanic has check all the wheels and ball joints ect but can't find anything wrong.
any ideas

Does it happen only when the fan is on? It could be your blower motor.

No it's not the blower.
I add that my car is an automatic as well

Do you hear it if the car is just rolling, 1-2mph? I had some brake issues but didnt know which one it was so had someone get in the car and go back and forth slowly as I walk along side the car and listened, found it was the rear driver side.

No, it's very much there on acceleration and deceleration and will hold steady when driving at a steady speed

Does it happen if youre in park or neutral and rev the engine?
