Shock Replacement

I replaced my shocks and struts a few months ago when the car had around 194,000 miles on it. The new components made a significant difference in the ride quality. The sport suspension is not cushy soft, and I still feel bumps in the road. Also, when the shocks and struts were worn the car needed more steering input to keep it pointed where I wanted it to go.
You may have other worn suspension components as well. Replacing the shocks and struts may not solve all of your issues.
If you have more than 150,000 miles on your car and you know that the shocks and struts are original, I don't think you can go wrong if you replace them. Just be prepared for some additional work.
