ESP not working, old transmission code?

2006 C280 with 75000 miles. First, a code dump (from my Foxwell NT510) and some notes:

203.054 C280
Motor electronics 9.7:

0632 Misfiring (P0300) Stored. I think this is a leaky intake valve on cylinder 1
Event 0845 CAN signal 'Torque request' from control unit Transmission is implausible. Stored

Transmission:
061B Component Y3/8n4 (Fully integrated transmission control (VGS) control unit) is defective. Stored
Event C428 No CAN message was received from control unit N80 (SCM [MRM] control unit). Stored

Electronic Stability Program:
C1172 N49 (Steering angle sensor) : Internal fault MIL ON&Stored
C1707 Cruise control : Consequential fault . Process first of all all the other stored fault codes. Stored
Event C1027 Fault in CAN communication with control unit N15/3 (ETC [EGS] control unit). Stored
Event C1036 Fault in CAN communication with control unit N80 (Steering column module). MIL ON&Stored
(Steering trick did not fix this, nor did a new battery)

Steering column module:
9000 Control unit N80 (Steering column module) is defective. Stored

Seems to me like the steering column module is bad, causing the ESP error. I haven't noticed the transmission doing anything strange, are those codes something I should worry about? Cylinder 1 misfire seems to have gotten better after a tune-up (no CEL in a while) but I don't think I've fully fixed it without some head work.

Thank you all!
