Finally..time to buy my C230k
well it is finally that time to get a 2005 C230K Sedan. i've registered for these forums a while back to just find out information and it seems everyone has been very helpful to one another so i thought i'd make my first apperance.
well tonight i actually visited 2 dealerships near my house. Rusnak in Arcadia and Penseke in West Covina. bascially the car i was looking at was Pewter color w/ charcoal interior, auto transmission, sunroof package, and 6 disc cd changer. the sticker price was about $34,450 i believe. Both Penseke and Rusnak gave me a price of 35,000 otd. so i thought i would come to you guys with experience and see if theres anything you guys might have to say about this. i am paying this off in full, not leasing. i plan to make my final trips sunday to maybe house of imports or somewhere else if someone has any suggestions. btw im only 23 so this is my very first car that i'm buying so any tips or help would be greatly appreciated =)

welcome aboard... i am not very familiar with pricing however i believe 35g's seems a bit high with the options you've mentioned. Since you are paying it off in full and cash negotiate a lot more. Also contact marcus benz. He has sold several benzes to members on this board and is located in orange county. I am sure he can make you a better deal.

Good luck with everything buddy. I can't wait as time comes for my 05 C230 Kompressor Sedan in March 2005. Thats around the time my license points go down and hopefully insurance decreases...:::knockin on wood::::

well its done and over with..i'm now a proud owner of a c230k sedan. just like I said earlier, its a Pewter color with charcoal interior, automatic transmission, sunroof package, with 6-disc cd changer. Window price was $34,250. I was able to walk out the door with it for $33,500. So its bascially $30,661.70 before license and all that stuff. Just thought i'd fill you guys in since u'll be hearing from me more now. Thanks again for everyone's comments.

i followed the manual instructions. in the first month of ownership, i got passed by all sort of cars, including mini-vans. it was horrible.

i got it as Rusnak Arcadia.
ya imma take it REAL slow the first 1k maybe even more. my previous car was a civic so i usually had to push down on the pedal pretty hard just to get it going normal speed. might be a problem for my itchy foot
heres a few pictures i quickly took before i parked it away for the night
