late response to Black C230Coupe
Hi Black C230Coupe,
I tried to respond to you a few times yesterday but the forum kept Loging me out for not accepting cookies every time I tried to post here.
I am sorry my friend but you may need to make a quick visit to the bank. I found the slip for my stock run and the time was 15.742 rather than 15.77, apologies for the misquote. It was actually a pretty good run, other than spining my wheels slightly more than I wanted to at launch. On the upside for you, Carlsbad, CA, where I race is pretty warm and the gas we get here is horrible.
Road and Track however, lists the 02 C230k as a 15.7 car, and their claims are usually pretty difficult to duplicate for anyone who does not regularly visit the track. Their time also comes from a six speed, so the automatic may be in the low sixteens.
Don't forget that, as much as I love this car, it is pretty heavy and your friend has a power to weight ratio advantage over you. All those airbags do come at a price.
Post your time slips after your runs, as it would be great to see some here. I definitely wish you lots of luck. Where are you racing by the way?

Silver-Estate,
I believe that answering your question here is a little complicated given the Forum's "Terms of Use". I have however, responded a few times to similar questions on the www.csportcoupe.com forum. I can say that I have been running test performance programs on my car since February and that I have been evaluating performance and reliability on the street, the track and on the dyno.
Thanks,
Andrew

I'll review thanks. I had a Wett. VR6, at that time you guys were getting things started. Exchanges on vortex about the subject were interesting. Unfortunately, that car got replaced by the Lex. Mod's are coming up shortly for the wagon. Monitoring closely.

C 230 Kompressor 2002
My best time with my c230 coupe 2002 was 14.899999. I did that with the first alloy pulley and atg filter. That was fast. Then I changet to the regular pulley with the ring (bigger than the regular and my times are worse 15.2 ( my car is automatic.

MT COY testing netted 7.1 to 60, and a 15.1 1/4 mile
