Driving home today in my 2005 C230K the serpentine belt ripped and slapped/broke a hose connection. Anyone recognize this? see attached
The hose attaches to the coolant reservoir. You can see the hose tucked under the other hose next to it. It has a plastic tip that broke, and I'm not sure how to search that to replace.

It looks like your belt broke the end of the tube that runs from the top of the engine to the coolant reservoir. If that is the case, search for part number 003 997 0689. Unless the belt also destroyed the pipe, you may be able to buy just the pipe socket and attach it to the end of the pipe with the clamp that should still be on the end of the pipe.
The hose itself in your 1st photo looks fine. Just remove the broken parts of the nipple with a pair of pliers. The bits usually also come out if you squeeze the hose like toothpaste.
The coolant nipple is known for cooking and failing every few years. See link for details and PNs. There are 3 other pipes on the engine that are known for failing regularly, all made of the same plastic.
It is recommended to keep a spare nipple in the car at all times.
While you're at it, also keep an eye on the crankcase breather valve, which is also made of the same plastic.

Was hoping to have this fixed over the weekend as it's my commuter. But, I've been to Autozone twice now with no luck trying to get the right belt size. Both times it's been too small. I seem to have had this same issue last time a few years ago.
