C320 Coupe wiper motors assembly...

Hello. I have a 2003 C320 coupe and my mechanic lost the nuts and bolts to the windshield wiper assembly. The main mechanism has two 13mm bolts and one 10mm bolt that hold it in place. And also the nuts to hold the windshield wipers.

Is there a diagram that tells the thread and length of the bolts etc? Or where can I find them online? I live in Mexico so it's not like I can swing by Lowe's.

Any help is greately appreciated.

God bless.

if you have a random bin of bolts and a thread gauge Id recommend trying stuff till you find one that fits and then seeing what thread pitch it is and then just order a bolt to that spec online. I dont believe the maintenance manual usually specifies thread spacing and pitch on the labels for bolts because usually the mechanic only needs to know the socket he needs.

yep ofc, if all else fails I can go outside and take mine apart and give you a range of bolts to try, they should be pretty standard luckily

Wow very kind of you! But I'll give your first suggestion a try first before I could ask you for such a burden. I was hoping someone here in the forums had a parts car.

The bigger problem is that all the fasteners will be metric. Not sure about Mexico, but in Canada we can't exactly go to the local hardware store either as practically everything in construction is imperial. With that said, a specialist fastener shop should have what you're looking for. Just drive your car to the store and ask to try some fasteners.

What I would do in your situation is call the dealer with your VIN, then ask for the PNs for the missing fasteners. Often the dealer PN description has the thread information as part of the part description. If you ask the parts guy nicely, they will often give it to you.

If that doesn't work, next I would punch the PNs into a search engine. Quite often the the fastener and thread specs will be in the results.

As for getting the parts, there are always places like eBay, or a local wrecker. If all else fails, pop by the dealer and pay the German tax.
