'05 C230 SS - just got car back from 13k "A" service
for all you 2005 folks --
just got my car back from the 13,000 mile "A" service. I bought the car and service it at Park Place here in Dallas, Texas.
we all know that MB dropped the free services on the 2005 models. HOWEVER == they did not charge me for the "A" service. Either they forgot, I had a lucky day at the cashier window, or the dealership is going to pick up the tab themselves for the services.
Not sure which - but I signed my ticket and took off.
Thanks for the postings about the trans fluid leaks. I mentioned that others were having the problem. Lo and behold - they found a tiny leak and fixed the O ring problem preventatively.
ALL in ALL -- the 13k "A" service is a glorified oil change + $100 bucks if they had remembered to charge me.
So far so good on everything on the car operating smoothly and reliably.

woah, that's awesome that they didn't charge you!
did you get an early oil change before the service? or is this your first one? I'm at 5,400 miles right now, and I'm trying to decide if I should get an oil change.
