W203 M272 2.5 Swap to 3.5
I would like to asking how to solve some problem of my car due to I got P2279 Code ( Check intake tract for unmetered air.) and my vehicle run not smooth. I have been swap engine from M272 displacement from 2.5 to 3.5 due to my 2.5 freak out. I have been selected M272.964 from W211 with no Vacuum Pump at the back and install to my W203 with the same ECU From M272.920 (2.5) and tuning ECU. I have swap only engine and use the same Transmission and Rear Differential.
I have done in that way because in my country M272.960 (3.5 from CLK or W203) is no longer available and not easy to find, so that why I choose this way. After I have swap the engine I have run into that problem P2279 code which I think the problem might be No Vacuum Pump and the ECU Version that equipped with Vacuum Pump. I have been checking for intake manifold leak, vacuum hose, and replace a MAP Sensor and it still happen.
So, the question is can it be coding a vacuum pump to off in my ME9.7 ECU.
Can anyone suggest how to solve ?
