722.699 slips when doing full throttle while 3rd -> 4th
Back at it again with new problems, cuz it wouldn't be an MB otherwise!
As title suggest, my w203 CDI from 2002 slips while applying full throttle and the transmission changes from 3rd to 4th. (by slip it revs the engine to redline then changes gear)
ATF levels are fine, no codes on EGS52 nor ETC.
The car has been doing this for ~2 years.
In order to mitigate the problem when shifting from 3 to 4 you have to let off the throttle and the car shifts "fine"
It does this while in D and also when changing "manually".
Any ideas? ^^
ATF was changed 25k~ miles ago (no glycol contamination)
Currently sitting at 136k miles on the odo, will be doing a valve body overhaul whenever I can with a sonax / transgo kit + conductor plate. Suspecting it could be the Overlap Control Valve Sleeve for 3 4
the transmission does not overheat, oil has been always between min / max (@20C and @80C)
Besides the 3 and 4 flare under throttle there's a also a problem where the transmission would not want to shift (it takes a few seconds for it to shift, mainly 3 to 4 again) and it holds the gear. Suspecting it might be the conductor
Yet again, any inputs would be greatly appreciated ^^
Thanks!
