The exhaust from the CLC AMG edition is very strange. Exit cat is 55 mm diameter, so flange of the "AMG" also 55 mm, going into a short pipe with 62 mm, to a tiny resonator which has internally again 55 mm. Exit of this resonator is 62mm up to the muffler. The muffler itself has identical part number as all sportcoupes, so I think 55 mm internally. But the exit is bigger with a much bigger exhaust tip All for show, no real function. Sound is disappointing.

Gack! All that work to sound like that. No offense, I went through the same thing way back when,
I also had a Supersprint header. There's a vid around here soemwhere of how it sounded fron like 2008.

honestly im not too upset with it, i dont really expect the inline 4 to sound amazing without putting more money than i paid for the car into the exhaust. Its loud enough now to get peoples attention who are in nicer sounding cars I want to hear at a light if that makes sense. If I had a two post lift+time+a tig setup+extra money id have a great time making it sound cool but i am notably lacking all four of those so ill settle with the oem exhaust that sounds like its dying when you hit 4000 rpm. Unrelated but itll be getting lowering springs soon as well as new front shocks so thatll be nice! Edit: for context the car cost me 2400$ US so basically any aftermarket mods for it are too expensive to justify
