C180K rough startup and low RPMs
First off, for context, this might be a niche problem because my car is LPG converted. I drive my car 80km in total daily to work and back.
For the past few months I've been noticing the car starting to start rougher and rougher.
At first it started on the 2-4 crank, it went to 2k rpm and then back down to 500ish, rattled for a few seconds then to normal rpm. No big deal, everything else was smooth.
As time went on it started to crank longer, stay on low rpm a bit longer, so it got worse.
I had a not so good ignition coil that I was too lazy to change and the oil was getting older at around 10k and so I kinda figured that would be it.
Fast forward a little, now the car started to dip at low rpm and when pressing the accelerator, it picked up rpm very slowly and in random intervals for a minute, then it goes to normal. It also gets worse when the engine is hot, i have to crank the car for a few seconds and it starts very bad.
I finally got some time to do the service and my wallet is crying now.
I had previously changed the gasket seals because oil had leaked on the old spark plugs, but the mechanic had done a terrible job and they where soaked again.
Had the alternator bearing changed (that decided to break while filling up before going to the mechanic).
Anyways what I have done is:
- Changed the oil
- Replaced the headgasket seals
- Cleaned the spark plugs
- Replaced the bad ignition coils
- AC radiator (irrelevant but costed a kidney)
I've seen older posts talk about the CPS / TPS sensor being the problem on similar situations, but I can't be sure since my car running on LPG, the petrol fuel pump and filter might be bad. And I really can't afford to spend anymore money without being sure. If anyone has any idea or has had similar issues please let me know because I have to cover the balance when I go to the ATM now.
Thank you
