w203 randomly ****s off out of nowhere
hi I have a 2001 mercedes-benz w203 c200. its not a compressor engine, nor a cdi. its a euro spec c class. I have this random problem where While driving, it randomly, out of nowhere shuts off the gauge cluster, the horn, wipers, AC, the turn signals and prevents from rolling down the windows. I have looked everywhere, other forums, youtube, reddit, even asked actual mechanics around my area but they all said that in order to diagnose it, I have to bring it in while that issue is present, otherwise they cant do anything about it. with the research I have done by myself I came to the conclusion that its either a wiring problem or it has something to do with fuses. I would be glad if any one of you could help me out with this, big or small. thanks in advance

Out of almost total ignorance, I would check that the battery is making good ground connections, that the connections are tight and free of corrosion.
well I usually keep it clean, I even swap the exact same battery into other cars as well, back and forth. plus usually it starts up just fine, its while DRIVING that it does that, (but very very rarely).

Front SAM?, or behind the gauge cluster there is a big cable that clamps into the rear of the gauge cluster.. I had a similar issue that was caused by this cable being slightly misaligned.. unclamping and re-clamping eventually got it to connect correctly.. good luck!
