Which Rims Are Better? Wheel Issue??
OK here is my issue...I bought some staggered AMG rims off a friend who had a 2003 C32 with only 9,000 miles. (17x17.5 front - 17x18.5 rear)
The wheels had a little bit of curb rash so I took the rims to get touched up and they really look awesome. I also bought new center caps and new AMG tire valves from performanceproducts.com because I was so sure that I was going to put the AMG rims on once I got the car. But now that I finally got my 2005 C230 Sports Sedan, the standard sport rims are really growing on me.
Now I need your opinion, if you had a choice...would you put on the 2003 C32 AMG rims on or keep the 2005 standard sport sedan rims on?

use one in the summer and one in the winter. It will help save the one you like the best. That way one set of rims are not in the salt and crap that the winter brings.

Thanks for all the feedback, I do live in south Fl so the winter/summer idea would only be good if I was up north. Every time I open my garage I see my AMG rims looking at me and it is killing me...more feedback would be great!!

Final Decision
Well, I just thought I would update you guys on my choice:
I have decided to stay with my standard sport wheels..
So I am selling my awesome AMG Rims that are in nearly new condition...anybody interested in taking them off my hands please PM me..It was a hard choise just because I love both wheel sets so much..thanks again for everybodies input

The AMG wheels do look good, but I'd venture to guess that if they were just an optional wheel instead of an AMG wheel, they wouldn't be nearly as popular. People see "AMG" and their eyes glaze over When I see C240/C320's riding around with their standard wheels, I can't believe I never upgraded while I had it. Can you say HOMELY? The '05 sport wheels are awesome!
