I think that Gab has cracked Yvette's secret code. I PM'ed her about the door sills, and it looks like she just posted her response here.

I'm trying to decide between the lighted Brabus & MB ones for my car, as I got a nice little dent in the driver's side from a pebble when I was down at the shore this past weekend.

The Eurotuner with that nasty Pornstar C240 had a nice little writeup of an install of the Brabus ones, and since they're blue also, well, you do the math...

Let me get this straight. You can't make a decision on which lighted sill to get because you have a door ding? Or is it that you have determined that you need lighted sills because of the dent?

No he got a dent in his door sill, so he is now trying to choose which plate he wants to cover it up with.

Now I understand. It should have been obvious. I read it too quickly, and it is too early for me to be fully functional.

Thank you, Vegasmatrix, my official interpreter.

The product listing that I have from Brabus says that they should retail for $500, and estimates install costs of $154. I have to talk to the local Brabus clowns, and see what their price is, though. I'd also like to see what kind of blue they light up as, and see if it's close enough to smurf, and not navy or something similar.

Sorry about posting too early, Lynn. Was your arthritis acting up? :p

Now, I only made it through the first year of pre-med, but I don't remember anyone mentioning "pepples" in my anatomy class. Maybe there's one in your brain instead of the area responsible for speeling.

Tisk, Tisk, Tisk, recycled material. As I have said before, I was learning other things in high school. You have used that spelling line before. Dull, borning, unorginal. Try to be creative Tommy. I expect better. :p

The MBs, per the mbusa website, are $400; Clairparts has 'em for $360. I hear that you can pick them up on ebay for around $200, but seem to be a bunch of mb-clone ones out there.

Then there's installation as well.

Yes, maybe if we ignore her, she'll go away.

Yvette did say that her service dept. told her that it was a 4-5 hour job. Don't know what they'd be doing for that long, but that was what they told her...

I have been told it's a difficult job to install them. Not sure about the exact hours though.
