This is interesting. This morning at 16 degrees F, my 05 wasn't shifting smoothly. RPMs went higher than usual shifting from first to second to third. When the car warmed up, it was smooth again.

whenever the temperature is low, it is normal for the car to shift at higher rpm's to bring the CAT temperature up faster to eliminate pollution. Do a search on this forum as it was discussed earlier.
