New Wheels :)
Just when you thought I'd run the C7s forever.
I picked these up as dailydrivers/ wet radials for autocrossing. They are Flik Lex 17x8 w/ Perelli P-Zero Nero M+S 225/45/17.
There is one problem. After I let the car down off the jacks, released the parking brake, the e-brake light stayed on as I started to drive away. The left rear, and only the left rear, is making ONE click per rotation of the tire. I backed out each wheel bolt to check to see if it is hitting something. None were scuffed or otherwise showed signs of striking anything. I will check again tomorrow during day light and take some more pics.
I still need a set of wheels for racing. Thinking HRE competition series (but having trouble justifying the money) or SSR compeitions 17x8.5. Issue is offset. HREs I can get how I want them, but at a price.
Thanks to tberry for paving the way. I love the way these look on the coupe

Ah-
So they're cheap, when I muff one up, I won't be waiting 6 -8 weeks for HRE to build me another one and I won't have to beg my fiance not to leave me.
They are very light compared to other wheels. OZ Supperleggra's are 18 lbs., the SSR Competitions are 15.1. I am going to get a set of SSR's too and run R compounds. I will use these for a wet radial.
Cheap $102 ea.
Lwt., 18 lbs.

I have some new stuff coming. Didn't know they weren't costed when I bought them, since, StopTech has released coated rotors, no mo RRS!

I am getting four new rotors from StopTech with the coating. It's black. Zgralis has some images up on mbk in the suspension threads. This year I am running the car in SCCA Street Prepared which does not allow BBK. Though this brake configuration is absolutely awesome. We discussing a full bbk for this car and then I'd move to Street Modified next year.
I picked up StopTech as a sponsor this year
