Momo shift knob

Okay do not flame me, I searched the forum, but I could not find an answer to my question. I want to replace the shift knob and the boot on my non-C7 6 speed. I already removed the stock shifter. It is actually quite easy to do. I was wondering if any of the Momo knobs will fit without any major mods. Also. the boot is just glued to the plastic that goes into the consule. Has anyone changed the knob and the boot with something other than Renntech or Brabus? I was searching imotorgear.com and they have some great Momo shifters. If anyone can offer some advise on this, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Regards,
John Cappuccilli

All momo shift knobs have universal fit sleeves at the bottom. They come with 3 plastic liners that have a small screw that attaches to the metal sleeve at the bottom. Get the momo boot in addition to the knob and bring it to your local upholstery shop. The boots are always to big, but your shop will be able to make it fit nice. I will send you some pics of my brothers shifter(its in a miata) but it has the mmo boot as well as a momo shifter. It should be fairly simply and cheap for you to do and will look really nice in your car.
