COMAND Problem....
I expected myself to boil over in rage, but oddly enough i am ok. I stopped by the dealership, they are gonna fix it no problem, and my salesman pulls me into his office to show me the new CLK coupe.... damn his black heart
If i had my checkbook on me at the time i would be on the waiting list for a new clk 500. What a stunning car.
But i digress... has anyone else had this problem with the comand system??? and if so, did it require replacing the entire thing??? i hope it doesnt, since i have like 10-15 different addresses programmed into it for friends/clients/coworkers.
thanks
on my dad's ML430 the nav screen has one single dead spot.
you problem is the LCD has gone bad or something...they'll probably replace the whole unit since the LCD screen cannot be removed like those on the ML class.
Personally I think many technicians are not yet trained to deal with the newer technologies that are found in our cars.....
we missed you at the NE GtG at Bear Mountain...there were only 3 Sportscoupes - tommy's, WebNJguy's, and mine...
CLK, huh? It's really that nice, hmmm? I love it, too - I hope it will be my next car. But I will miss the 'hewn from a solid ingot'-look of the outgoing model to the point where I'd consider getting a pre-owned Starmark sample.
In a perfect world, I'd own one of each
Did you drive it?
