I finally installed my AUX wire that I got for Xmas in my 05 c230SS. First thing I noticed was how much of a PITA it was to change songs/pause/ff or rw. So after a little searching, I found a great RF remote for the Ipod or Ipod Mini.

After ordering the black keyfob (to match my interior) it came in 4 days, and was very easty to hook up. Now I leave my ipod mini in my glove box plugged into my aux input and use the remote to control the ipod from inside the car. The keyfob is so small, it fits nicely in the cupholder, or in my ashtray.

The range is fantastic, and it works from outside the car while the ipod is still tucked away nicely in the glove box with the door closed.

I just figured I would pass on some info on a great product! Well worth the $50.

i thought you can control the iPod thru the steering wheel controls on the 05's.

thanks for the headup though. i wanna use my mini green iPod in my car.

here's a neat little device I got for my girlfriend....plugs into the lightersocket to power her iPod mini (not available for my 20gb 4g - sigh) They also have one with an FM transmitter!
