MB coupe.
Your salesman will go over the car with you. It will take about an hour. He will likely use a check-list and ask you to sign it before delivery.

If you have advised them ahead of time, they won't put on a dealer decal, or front plate mount. I asked for this, and he also handed me some of the safety decals that they hadn't installed.

Have fun, and read the manual.

I'd check the paint job out in daylight, from several angles, and try to bring along someone else to see something that you might otherwise miss.

Yes, the salesPERSON should take some time with you, though you'd have to be there all day to fully get the climate control. (Mark, no reason to post a response saying how easy it really is to understand :p )

Oh, OK! . But I agree with you -- I always like to check out the paint in daylight.

Check for

Dents, imperfections in the paint and in the interior, look it over carefully to make sure everything, cloth and leather and fittings, fits correctly.

Make sure windows, one push down or up, work and the sunroof one push to partially open also works.

Have the salesguy set the computer settings for lights, radio, convenience for the settings you want.

On the speed sensitive audio, I had them reset it to 3 dBs and it works fine, doesn't turn itself up or down too quickly.

If you use 93 octane all the time, you can have them set the ignition adaptive setting to 93, if you like. May get you some more hp.
