Finally had a chance to make these at work. From previous post regarding the door pin surrounds, I read formymercedes.com charges like $30 for similar product? I have mine done for $0 and its customized for my baby, and I think it looks way better than whats out in the market. Little machining/polishing, with the name laser edged on it...they bling! HAhahh Sometimes it just catches my attention while driving I had to look at them...You know how people say "food you cook yourself taste the best"....yup I love them, and best of all they are free =)

Nice but is that what standard door pins in the US look like? No offense, but the golf tee thingy is quite ugly. Think you should change them

Hmm...seriously I wont have time to make all that myself. But maybe someone can start up a group buy list... I can have my friend who owns a machine shop to start the project. But again, this is business ...he has to make money too so dont expect to get them cheap since he has to start off somewhere. I saw formymercedes.com sells them for $30, maybe he can offer at same price. I will have to discuss with him, since I already have the sample made myself it will be much easier for him to get started. I know you can also specify colored ones...they can anodzie the aluminum like in red/blue/clear/ or even "citron" .but there will be extra charge to do color of coz. Then maybe I can laser edge them for you guys...when I have a chance.

I bet he can also make the door pins similar to existing product available...I will need to get the price from him later...lets see how many people are interested so I can start talking to him.

Thanks for your comments, but trust me this is nothing special compared to the design work I've done at work. I

Ok I just talked with my friend this morning, and he has no problem making them. Only problem he sees is the part can not be laser edged with brand's name or there might be a trademark issues or something. Besides I will be the one doing the laser so..forget that!! haha I dont wanna get sued. So if you guys still want them in lets say polished or colored, he will be more than happy to make them...should be available in about a week. So email me to get on the list. In your email, list what kind of finish you want (polished or colored). Uhh...may as well tell me what wordings you want to put on, I will "try" to do it for you guys..but theres no garauntee.

Very nice work !!

do keep in mind, that the $30 price on ForMyMercedes.com is for a set of 4 (four) rings, not 2 (two).

Good point, Saprissa. I sure hope the set I ordered includes 4 surrounds, not just 2.
I KOMPRZ: please verify here or by email. I was under the impression that it would include all 4, but just want to make sure so there are no surprises.

NO! the price is per piece.....

hahah j/k. Of course they come in a pack of 4.

Here are some pics of the orders from fellows of the board...more of the "Mercedes-Benz" sets should be available on Ebay by next week.

To be honest, all these new ones come out much better looking than my own. I had to redo mine =)
