GPS Antenna
Sorry if this is a reposted question, I searched all 171 threads, with 1058 posts and couldn't find it specifically answered...
... Is the stock antenna that comes with a barebones US 2005 C230SS (no teleaid or nav) GPS capable? ( i.e., can I somehow splice a connection to it from my Garmin Street Pilot III?).
If not, where is the stock GPS antenna usually mounted?
Thanks in advance for any guidance (no pun intended).

The GPS antenna (only if you have Comand or Teleaid or both) is glued on top edge of the rear window and is about 1 1/2" tall. It would be really hard to retrofit the factory GPS antenna if you didn't already have one, that's why people put them under the dash for Comand or on the rear parcel shelf for Sat radio.
