Ebay ADD 20HP INTAKE SENSOR CHIP FOR ALL MERCEDES C-CLASS
Guys... does any body know how this is possible? under $10 for 20 hp?? i have a 2005 C230k SS and everybody rags on how slow my car is. Should i buy this? my car is a lease the site says it wont cause problems or void the warantee -- what if it messes up the car which it says it wont? what to do what to do?!

Okay heres a tip for all you folks out there, if a seller says that you can get HP gains, and it's not from a known tuner and is very cheap, then its fake, never believe anything on eBay unless they have proof... people get burned of their 20 bucks on things like this, things that promise 20HP gains...

So you disconnect your ECU and replace it (in circuit) with a ____ ohm resistor....nice...
They have BIG BRASS ONES to charge you $10 plus shipping and handling for a 9 cent part. I think the intent of this "mod" is for TEMPORARY USE....a quarter mile at a time....NOT for permanent replacement of the ECU.
If your friend's are raggin' on you about "your car being slow", kick 'em to the curb and let them ride in their POS hondas, cavaliers and sunfires. It's easy to find new friends without messin' up your car.

It just tells your ECU to stick in open Loop (kind of like when you start your car up in the morning for the first time)
I'm guessing the Computer would finally adjust to it, and bypass the sensor after your car ran rich as hell.
