Pilot Sports A/S on my C230?
I have a 2003 C230 Sedan and was considering going with the Pilot Sport A/S. Any comments? I live in Florida so how they handle in the snow isn't that important. It does rain a lot in the summer so wet traction is important. What about wear? The Mercedes OEM Pilot Sports only lasted 14,000 miles.

I got those soles on my phat whip G!!! No, seriously, I put those tires on just before we got hit with 12 inches of snow (literally just before, as in about 12 hours before!)... They are great so far, good traction and are pretty quite and smoother than the summer Conti's I had on before. Couldnt tell you about treadware, only have about 2000 miles on 'em. Their rain traction is good, much better than the Michellin AT4 truck tires on my Jeep (was rwd for about 6 months).

A/S are made of a different compound than the summer only tires. The summer tires will get too hard in cold weather and provide even less traction than they already do due to the tread pattern.
PS: YAY SNOW!!!!!!!!! My car did pretty well in the snow tonight! only place I got stuck was halfway up m driveway... I only needed to go 5 more feet and I got stuck...
