Steve only installs the parts / units which were purchased through him... so no radar detector installation by Steve. Sorry.

We only have primered C55 spoilers. We don't offer them painted for two reasons:

* we pack the spoilers as good as we can, but in case it would get scratched during transit, the customer has to redo the paint job himself - thus this would be a waste of time and money.
* if we were to paint the spoilers here in Holland before shipping them out, and the color would somehow differ from the original car color, we would have to ask the customer to either return the spoiler to us or he has to re-paint it locally.

Either way, we figure it's best to just ship them primered and avoid these problems.

BigSis

BigSis: I know Steve was just here in the Bay Area, CA but I was wondering if he already has an idea (tentatively) when he might be heading back here to do mods again. I think he usually makes another trip in the summer, right?

Hi Blake,

Steve will be based in SF again in March. He will fly to Chicago / Toronto from there. And probably fly to the East Coast from SF as well...

If you are looking for some mods, just email us. I will try to find out if we can fit you in then.

greetingz,

BigSis

Your best bet is to send an email to Steve and he will respond timely.

I'm hoping for some advice (thanks in advance).

I have a 05 C320 with the H-K sound system. I want to get COMMAND from MBenzNL in time for the March installation trip. But I'm curious if I should maybe wait until perhaps the DVD-playing 'option' is unlocked (so that one can play DVDs on the unit; I can't quite afford a TV-tuner+COMMAND at the same time now); it's not clear the feature will be made available, but is it worth waiting for?

Question... in a past thread, someone posted the MB part number for the C55 lip spoiler, in which they stated that you place your car's color code as the last 3 numbers of the part number, and it comes that color. Do you have any info on this?

You won't be able to play DVDs in the nav.drive itself! The W203 DVD comand's nav.drive is only meant for nav.DVDs, not for movie DVDs...

IF Steve can find a way to enable DVD / TV while in motion on a W203 DVD comand, you would still need the additional TV tuner to hook up a DVD player.

Jim,

I don't have the part number for the C55 spoiler myself (Steve does, though). But I do know it works that way with the bumper strips... the last three digits stand for the color code.

The part number is floating around this forum, but my point was that IF you do order it w/ your car's color code, does that mean it is painted at the factory? Is it "molded" in that color at the factory? (I assume it's plastic)

I'd say go for it while Steve is here. Since you are already looking at a phase approach, get the command for March so you can begin using its features, I use it all the time especially for locations I'm not familiar with or if I need to take an alternate route due to traffic. Then on his next trip, hopefully the DVD factor will be resolved and by that time you'll have enough $$$.

Take it from me, I have a few goodies going in for this install and have already planned additional projects for his next visit. Yep, I got the mod bug.

Better hurry cause he needs to make sure it's available, March 18 is not too far away. We already have 6 installs going on for Chicago.

Opps, I thought you were in Chicago. Either way, you should get it so you can begin using it.
