2006 MB C350 Ordered - Delivery June 8th, 2005

Just ordered the 2006 C 350 Sport Sedan. You gotta love the Canadian MB Dealers especially here in Toronto. So on point with everything.

Details:

Orion Blue Metallic
Premium Leather in Alpaca Grey
COMAND-DVD in-dash GPS navigation system
Heated Front Seats
7-Speed Automatic Transmission
Bi-Xenon Headlamps
Heated Headlamp Washers
Power Tilt/Sliding Sunroof

Delivery Date is June 8th, 2005. Hopefully it comes sooner. No test drive. Just a straight order. You won't even believe the price on the 7-speed auto trans. I'd say overpriced, but I think it will be worth it.

Can't wait for it to arrive

Is Alpaca Gray a new color or is it simply the same as Ash in the US?

You can view Alpaca Grey color on the Canadian MB website. I'm not sure if it's the same as Ash in the US.

Debadged 6-Speed '05 C320 Sports Coupe
Have the Canadian pricing and available options been defined? Or, are they basing it on '04 options, at this time?

My July delivery '05, ordered in May, was "fine tuned" as information became available. Pricing was blank until June. Unfortunately they didn't give it to me for zero, they had a price prior to delivery.

MSRP $56,000 Cdn = $46,000 US

With all my options and taxes $72,000 Cdn = $58,000 US

Put a nice down payment on it and will continue financing for 60 months with a decent monthly plan I can afford.

Worth the price

58K USD for the C350 , it is almost close to the HK price
I believe the Hk price is ~65-70K with full options
I thought car price is close between Canada and USA?
Anyway, great choice, Congrats!

NOW YOU MUST BE A COMPLETE HATER OR SOMETHING TO AUTOMATICALLY CLASSIFY ME AS A 1ST CLASS BEAN BAG JUST BECAUSE I PURCHASED A FULLY LOADED 2006 C350 FOR $72,000 CDN WITH TAXES. CANADIAN PRICES NOT US. I REPEAT CANADIAN DOLLARS NOT US DOLLARS.

IT MUST BE REAL EARLY FOR YOU AND YOUR BRAIN HASN'T KICKED IN YET WHEN YOU READ THIS THREAD BY TELLING ME I COULD HAVE GOTTEN A CLK, E CLASS, C55, OR AN M3 FOR CHEAPER. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT I LIVE IN TORONTO CANADA. NOT THE UNITED STATES. OUR PRICES ARE DIFFERENT THAT YOURS YOU STUPID F*CK. LEARN TO CONVERT YOUR PRICES FROM CANADIAN DOLLARS INTO US DOLLARS AND THEN TALK TO ME. YOU JEALOUS *****. HERE IS SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT IN CANADIAN DOLLARS, I REPEAT CANADIAN DOLLARS. I'LL LET YOU DO THE CONVERSIONS YOURSELF:

CLK 320 MSRP $65,290 Cdn
E Class MSRP $73,000 Cdn
C55 MSRP $72,600 Cdn
M3 MSRP $73,000 Cdn

2006 C350 MSRP $58,000 Cdn

NOW THOSE PRICES ARE NOT WITH ANY OPTIONS AND WAY BEFORE TAXES. NOW PLEASE TELL ME HOW THESE ARE CHEAPER THAN MY $72,000 CDN 2006 C 350 FULLY LOADED WITH TAXES?

tuscanraider.....REMEMBER....US PRICES ARE DIFFERENT THAN CANADIAN PRICES. REMEMBER THAT BEFORE YOU RUN YOUR MOUTH SAYING I'M A FIRST CLASS BEAN BAG. CAN'T WAIT FOR MY CAR TO ARRIVE YOU STUPID F*UCK

Easy killer.... no likes a CAPS flamer.

Good for you... don't listen to anyone else. you got a nice car and it doesn't matter how much you paid for it. If we ALL were sooo concerned about 'best bang for you buck' then most of us wouldn't have a C series.

Deutscher_Wagen, thanks for the cool down. I just cannot stand jealous prejudice non thinking individuals such as tuscanraider. If he clearly understood that a 2006 Mercedes Benz C350 MSRP is $58,000 Canadian Dollars and that his other vehicles he recommended have MSRPs in Canadian Dollars of:

CLK 320 MSRP $65,290 Cdn
E Class MSRP $73,000 Cdn
C55 MSRP $72,600 Cdn
M3 MSRP $73,000 Cdn

He wouldn't have been such a prejudice a$$hole and make a complete a$$ out of himself by calling someone he doesn't know a 'FIRST CLASS BEAN BAG'. I mean, sitting there in his virtual world reading the thread at his desk, he has the power to say that to me without getting a punch to his face. In person, he would only say that to himself in his small a$$ head. Calling me a 'FIRST CLASS BEAN BAG' face to face would be something i know this punk mother f*ucker would not dare do because I definately know this ***** is a small ******* who would truly get knocked the f*uck out.

Let me get this straight, your car (c350) is $72K Cdn right?
AND
C55 MSRP $72,600 Cdn
M3 MSRP $73,000 Cdn

So for 600 more you could get a base C55 and 1000 more a base M3? Even with limited options those cars are better.

Ok you cleared it up, you are a canadian beanbag.

His final price is 72k after tax, the price you listed were before tax, tax here in Canada is 15%... that makes a huge difference... plus not everyone needs a car like M3 and C55, you just makes me wonder what kind of car you are driving, I hope it's better than a 2006 C350.

Let's not forget about our 15% taxes allmight tuscanraider. I have so much respect for you.

Correct pricing on BASE
C55 MSRP $72,600 Cdn with 15% taxes = $83,490

M3 MSRP $73,000 Cdn with 15% taxes = $83,950

BASE BASE BASE BASE BASE
That means the C55 without without Bi-Xenons which I want and without the COMAND which I want, both of which I have on my 2006 MB C350 SS. So The base C55 which I really should have gotten based on your expert knowledge would have cost me $83,000 Cdn without the much needed Bi-xenons and COMAND which is $11,000 Cdn more than my fully loaded 2006 MB C350 SS. Hmmmm, a base C55 just for the AMG badging. hmmmmm. Is all the extra horsepower needed for ME? hmmmmmmm 362 HP vs 268 HP.......hmmmmmmm. fully loaded vs BASE hmmmmmm

tuscanraider. You rock baby. United States huh? hmmmmmm Who is more likely to suffer some serious economic hardships after another big event. hmmmmmmm? who's coming to Canada to be safe? hmmmmmmmm?

tuscanraider, have an incredible day. It's lunch time now down here. Think I'll go get some Canadian beef. Mad cow style. you know we love it down here. We are soooooo much different than Americans. We live on a different planet remember.

tuscanraider:

Let me give you even more clarification

Correct pricing on BASE
C55 MSRP $72,600 Cdn with 15% taxes = $83,490 Cdn
M3 MSRP $73,000 Cdn with 15% taxes = $83,950 Cdn

Wait a minute. How much does a BASE 2006 C350 cost????
$58,000 Cdn with 15% taxes = $66,700 Cdn

Let's do some math before I go for some Canadian Beef for lunch.

Base 2006 C350 SS with taxes is about $17,000 Cdn CHEAPER than the C55 BASE which I don't want and a M3 BASE which I don't want.

tuscanraider, you are definately the man and you have absolutely definately woken up to the fact that "Oh sh*t, this Canadian dude has gotten me here. I was kinda quick on the trigger reading his numbers and forgetting he lives in Canada with their 15% taxes. My only comeback was to say he could get Base models of the C55 and M3 for only $600 Cdn more. I forgot he has a fully loaded 2006 C350 SS with that crappy 7 speed automatic transmission. I'm not jealous at all. Over a Canadian? Hell no. Sure my country might be in for an attack larger than 9/11 that would more than likely shut down the economic structure of our powerful country for awhile while those stupid Canadians are safe and sound over there on that different planet they live on. Oh yea, they are not on the same continent."

Please bring as many more childish excuses you can to somehow try and save face with yourself. Please list all the other cars I should have gotten and their prices. Please go to all the Canadian car makers websites and quote some prices for me and let me know how badly I messed up by paying $72,000 Cdn for a fully loaded 2006 C350 SS that includes 15% taxes.

Here are the websites for you. Get back to me by late afternoon. That's your project for the day:

www.mercedes-benz.ca
www.bmw.ca
www.infiniti.ca
www.lexus.ca

We consider those luxury brands over here in Toronto Canada so you can pick from their entire lineups and let me know which is the best bang for my buck. Oh yea, I already made the purchase so the expert knowledge from you would pretty much go in my brain while I read your typed text and right on out when I leave the MB Forum. Please have fun researching.

You really are the man of the hour and I have so much respect for you. :p

You paid too much and now you feel like slapped ***....you want to be the first on the block with the 350, good for you. The guy who buys in August will get a nice discount, but you will have had the car for 2 months by then, I guess thats worth a few thousand.

Yes a BASE C55 is better thans any other C class loaded. Ask around here.

The salesman saw you comin' a mile away. He probably took the rest of the week off after your sale, he never saw so much profit built into a deal.

Hey since you'll overpay for anything; I have 1 stale pickle left in the jar in my fridge, I'll sell it to you for $50....canadian!!!!!! I take paypal.

Take it easy beanbag.

Considering I am real good friends with the sales manager at Mercedes Downtown Toronto who I purchased the car from and knowing for a fact there won't be any discount on the C350 in August I think I know what I'm talking about. I truly have the upmost amount of respect for you. Considering I run my own business in and we have 5 main service packages that run from $999. $1999, $2999, $3999, and $4999 and that we average 3 sales of our top package alone of $4999 per week which comes to a monthly average of $60,000, bear in mind that that's not including all of our other sales, for me to put down $72,000 Cdn for a fully loaded 2006 C350 with 15% taxes is nothing to me. Work out the math on yearly sales figures just on that $4999 package we sell with a minimum of 12 sales per month on just that. hmmmm, that's $720,000.

How many years for you to make that sucker.

Enjoy your day tuscan, just closed another one for $2999. Ah well, not our top package, but a sale is a sale.

Mason00,

Don't listen to tuscanraider - find his thread about how he painted his car with truck bedliner

Most Americans are used to prices without taxes, and to heavily discounted MBs. Some have posted $4-6K of MRSP, while I have yet to read more than $2K off MRSP from any Canadian C-class owner on MBCanada.com.

There's no way MBUSA can keep prices where they are in the US with the USD where it is.
US MRSP C320 Sport Sedan: $38K USD ~= $47K CND
CAN MRSP C320 Sport Sedan: $54K CND

So there's a $7K discrepancy right now, yet consider 2 years ago when the USD was worth something:
US MRSP C320 Sport Sedan: $38K USD ~= $59K CND

That's a $12K price difference over 2 years! The CND hasn't fluctuated much with the Euro, yet the USD has a lot - MBUSA must be losing a small fortune on the exchange.

The C350 seems like a $4K increase in price over the C320. Looks like I'll be keeping my C230.

$58K base + options == $66.7K

So considering:
Leather = $2K
BiX = $1K
Sunroof = $1K
Command = $2K
Heated seats = $700
Metallic paint = $800

That means the 7-speed auto is > $2K when before the auto is $1.5K.
