Another newbie, another C230K thread

Hey guys I just got my 2005 C230K two days ago. Black on black leather, textured aluminum trim, 6 speed short throw manual, driver's seat package, heated seats, sun roof package. They're making my first month's payment plus 2 years of service. MSRP $33,040, Invoice $31,178, my price $31,177
I love it so far!

I agree. Its a nice car, and the 5spoke SS rims are one of MB's nicest designs to date. Put some money in the hamster.

Damn...I miss winter. And the snow. And the smell of the brisk winter air. And the sound of trains.

But since we're talking about cars, nice car.

I think the first year of service normally comes with a new car, service includes basic stuff like oil changes. Warranty covers stuff that breaks and that's for 4 years. I think an oil change after the first year is like $100.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
Very nice, Black on Black is very nice. I see you need those heated seats in that snow. The 2005's don't have free service from the factory, but some dealers give away the oil change for the first year. You did OK on the price, but you put $1,652 in the dealers pocket, plus the difference between 0.9 and the APR shown on your contract. A maintenance plan for your car for four years is $1,312. If you get a satisfaction survey from DaimlerChrysler you might carry it in and ask the dealer to toss in the plan if you mark all excellent on the survey.

I am pretty sure this is a dealer add on.

I know if I were a dealer, with the discontinuation of included maintenance, I would be selling people a 4 year maintenance plan up front.

Another vote FOR the stock 17's! You can use the wheel money to get another 20 HP with the Kleeman performance kit!

I just called my Kleemann dealer yesterday (also happens to be the dealership I bought my MB from) and they quoted me $2100USD installed.
