Wind Noise in W204

It seems that the W204 has a wind noise problem due to the door mirrors. I was wondering whether the mirrors could be replaced when the facelifted version is released. Is that possible?

For all of the development that went into this car, I find this very hard to believe. That they would miss such a simple detail when you look at the effort that went into the vented brake light lenses, that they wouldn't think of mirrors is a little crazy

I agree with you. This is the most tested Mercedes Benz ever and they shouldn't have missed that.

that is why i am concerened, i mean mercedes said the cabin noise has been decreased some 15% but then at what time idle or highway speed. The top gear writer was squealing like a pig about windnoise.

Pah! Fifth Gear! I wouldn't trust anything that lot have to say, it's a tabloid tv programme at best.

The opinions of these mags are bought and sold. Test drive one for yourself if you are in the market.

It seems almost to perfect. Give a review exclaiming the truth about the car and make up a small detail to give the edge to a competitor (read: higher paying manufacturer).

Just a theory...

Mercedes all the way!
i've not driven it so i can't say for sure, but that is certainly the only review i've seen so far that even mentions wind noise. so i'm skeptical.
