GPI - Great find! Sport model C300 WITH 4matic, it's about time Woohoo! Although it does say no wood interior option with C300...which I would prefer. I wonder if the "17" twin spoke" wheels are the ones that look like AMG rims as in the picture? That would be nice.

New Yorkers, get your camera's ready and take some pictures!

You are correct, the 17"s on the sport are the twin spoke, but I think they are saying that even luxury models will have 17"s now.

Wow, we W203 people got ripped off in terms of electronic gadgets. Remember that stupid $2000+ V60 option? And now Bluetooth is standard. *sigh*

Wow, thanks for that info! I will definitely be there on Friday to see the car! I can't wait to see it in person, as I have already left a deposit on it at the dealership. I'm super excited!

Take as many necessary pictures as possible guys and post them here! I would like to see the center console screen without the navigation option. I heard it's only five-inch compared to seven-inch if you opt for the navigation feature.

If anybody go to the NY Auto Show, could you please check and see if the rear head rests (3 of them) are "Fixed" or retractable with a switch on the dash liked W203 today.

Also please check the power seat switch in the door and see if they have fwd and aft control. On the current C230SS, you have manually move the level in front if you want to move the seat fwd and aft.

Thanks

I can tell you now that the headrests are NOT retractable, much to my disappointment. They look like the cheap bulky, unelegant headrests in every other car make on the planet, how sad.

The power seats on these new models will be completely power and controlled by the buttons on the door. The current C230 Sport Sedan comes with semi-power seats, but fully power is a option.

if you go to mbusa.com, they updated the 204 site (click on the bottom of the main page). It says its wheel base is 124.6" and overall length is 205". Is that right? Thats bigger than the current E class. Actually, its the same exact dimensions as the new S class. That cant be right!

But a cool thing... Get nav, the 6 disc DVD changer can play videos too!

EDIT: excuse my winamp in the corner... I've been up all night studying for two back to back exams... which I actually have to leave for right now...

What is UP with that huge orange reflector ahead of the front wheels ??? I guess us US buyers can no longer substitute the impact strips with the Euro strips to make the reflector go away. Gosh, that's just major fugly; couldn't they have incorporated this in with the headlight cluster?

Although I'm starting to warm up to the exterior (even though I took 2 steps backwards with the orange reflector thing), I'm defintely not liking the interior. True, it's got some more stuff standard compared to our W203's (pwr folding mirrors, full power seats, etc), it still looks major el-cheapo, as many of us have commented on. I'd love to hit the NY show, but probably won't be able to. Plus it's 4 hours away.

Those of you who go, take a bunch of pics, especially of the areas not normally discussed (vents, the standard 5" non-Nav screen, glove box interior, rear cup holders, etc. Looking forward to hearing everyone's hands-on comments in the coming days !!

Thanks,

The MBUSA marketing group get lazy, they just cut and paste the format of an S class and not even looking over.

Wheel base is 2760 mm (108.66 inches)
Overall lenght 4581 mm (180.35 Inches)

I just received the C-class email. All I have to say is wow. It looks nice. I think I may have to abandon the used E class and get a new C-class for the same price.

Ok I have really bad news. I just got home a little while ago I was at the AMG Preview in the city and the C-Classes were on platforms and closed. So no interior pics at all. They unveiled the CL65 AMG and the CLK63 AMG Black Series AND let everyone sit in both of them, yet we can't sit in the C-Class.

EDIT: I will be posting lots of pics and videos from the night soon!

Here's some pictures of the new C-Class exterior. I know you guys have seen plenty of it, but it's amazing how good the car looks in person. Of course the interior is what I really wanted to see.
