'08 C300 Lux Barolo Red Beige Leather P2 MM 18" wheels '84 944
C in red

Thanks for posting the C in Barolo Red which is what my C300 Lux will be. With Cashmere Beige leather.

More good news for me. My car's revised build date is the week of August 21 so I should see it around 10/1 or so. My on-the-ball salesman was able to reconfigure to my specs a car they had ordered as a demo with the Multimedia package.

I have decided to change the wheels to the stock C350 Sport staggered 17" AMGs which means I can use the stock wheels for winter tires. I will be buying the same tires that I have on my C320 (and my 944) which are Bridgestone RE050A PP. Very quiet (comparatively) and much smoother riding than MB's OE tires. Excellent in the rain, also.

So, I will be selling my winter wheels which have about 1000 miles on them with Nokian WR tires fitted. The wheels are new car takeoff C-Class coupe wheels which will not fit the W204 because of the big offset change.

Glad to hear that your build date is revised to an earlier date. Are you going to buy the 17" AMG wheels separately?

Build date & wheels

<<Glad to hear that your build date is revised to an earlier date. Are you going to buy the 17" AMG wheels separately?>>

I will have to buy them later when I know what the part numbers are and they show up in the MB parts system. Needless to say, I won't be buying them locally since the dealers here charge retail plus plus.

All of the update parts I've purchased for the C320 have come from Caliber Motors in Anaheim at very substantial savings, even considering shipping costs.

Don't think white will hide rock-chips, my work truck is a 2007 Tacoma, it's six months old and has almost 22K miles YTD Anyway the leading edge of the hood & headlamps have rock-chips already and seem more noticeable on this white truck than per se the few chips the '05 Dodge 2500 quad cab turbo diesel we traded in for the W204, that truck was charcoal gray metallic. We were shooting for any color other than gray, silver, the silver-pewter color etc.. as my parents have an '05 TL & 4Runner both in gray metallic and my last three vehicles have been a gray-esq hew. Getting our new C class in steel gray was entirely impromptu and the first car I've ever bought and signed papers prior to seeing the color in person. In fact our build sheet stated the car had the black MB-Tex and when we showed up to claim it the car had our first choice the light gray/ black two tone which looks sharp.I likely will not be buying any more gray cars our friends seem to think that's the only color we like, it just happens that way on accident for us. BTW I think black/tan with AMG 18" wheels is the business for the W204, the only down side and because of where my wife parks her car at work I couldn't go black. I had 2002 Passat 1.8t back in the day, when a black car gets bird poop on it, if it's not removed within some 15 minuets the acid will burn a mark in the paint. Ask me how I know.

Palladium Silver and Beige Interior ?

Hello - I'm new to the forum - I have an appointment to put in my order for a new 350 4MATIC on Tuesday at my MD dealer. I am really thinking of going for the Palladium Silver exterior, but really can't decide on the interior - I was thinking of the Black/Reef Grey, but am now thinking the Cashmere Beige interior might be something different. According to the Canadian Spec Brochure this is an option up here ! - I am tired of black dark interiors, and think the Beige might be a nice change ? - has anyone seen a combo like this ? Thanks

The cashmere beige interior is what I'd go with. Since it is not offered here in the US for the sport model, I went with the grey/black interior.

2008 C350 Black/Black Leather, P2, 18" AMG, Pano, illuminated door sills, chrome handles, long wait
I think if you get a black ext. you need a black interior. A little gray here and there isn't going to make the car any cooler on a hot sunny day. ;-) Just roll back the pano roof and you're in business. For me, black interior = vitality/youth black/gray interior = salt and pepper yo' daddy's hair.

haha, just my warped mind.

Just needed specific lugs. I vote for white + black roof, but apparently you're a black car nut. I dunno how you keep that thing clean around here :x

Yeah..I like black alot although it's hard to keep it clean. I usually wash the car weekly, depending on the dirt I see on my car. What are the offsets for the wheels? Did you buy them from a member in this forum?

Yea, my buddy has a black w203 and its soo much harder to keep clean.

Front et 28 and rear et 33 (or 32, i forget). And I did buy them off of here He bought them for his audi, but they were too wide (he bought some bbs wheels instead). Shipped from CA and everything - ive had quiet a few good experiences w/ transactions w/ fellow forum members

Black cars look better in the shade.

I agree. My new C300 4MATIC Sport will be my 8th black car in a row. I drove a white one on Saturday and it looked great though.
