New C280 Test drive!!
Hi guys
First of all, i would like to introduce myself as i am new to this forum and this is my first thread.
This forum is truly perfect and has lots of valiable info. that aided me to choose the right car for myself. In the meantime, i am waiting for my new babe 2008 C-280 Avantgarde to replace my old Alfaromeo 156 and my mother's VW Passat 1.6 FSI 115 Bhp.
Today i went for a test drive that i would like to share with you the unforgettabke experience. First,comes the engine, extremely powerful on gear 1 , 2 & 3. but unfortun. could drive it more than 145 km/h. Then i went through the slalom which made me really impressed! even when i squeezed the throtle. Yeah, i went pretty harsh on it. it handled real good.
Afterwards went through a bit of a rough test, where you should apply the brakes over sand while driving at about 65 km/h without holding the steering wheel. and damn! it went pretty fine, without any noticable trumbling
The 7G-Tronic is very clever too! it didnt make any wrong shifts while slowing down and accelerating back again as i used to experience on my previous alfaromeo 156 SILLYspeed.
To cut a long story short, the car is amazing guys and i really cant wait to pick up mine. Thank god i didnt go for the 330i although its more powerful !!
