Does the New C have memory front seats?

And I'm going to do just the opposite. I will be changing the grill in my C300 Lux to the Sport grill. Now that I've seen it on the demo car, I like it better.
I too am all in a lather about seat memory. I just can't believe the Luxury model, at least, doesn't have the door controls. And while I'm at it, forcing a black interior when buying a Sport has kept me from that model. I've ordered biege leather which would look great in a Sport model and after all, there would be no additional manufacturing cost to install the Lux interior.
MBUSA is on my blacklist, for all the good it will do.

I just don't like dark interiors and I don't like the aluminum interior trim. Other than that, A Sport would be fine particularly since the 3.5 engine could be specified.
But when I'm driving the car, I see the inside, not the outside and black or gray is just too dismal for me. I spent three days last week driving a dealer service loaner, a new '07 C230 Sport with a black interior and that confirmed my decision.
The new copy of Auto Motor und Sport arrived the other day and they published a comparison test between a C200 (or 220?) diesel and the equivalent Passat and the MB is in the color I have ordered with the US market Lux wheels and it looks very good. BTW, the MB won the comparison, just.
I suppose for the W230 single owners, seat memory isn't an issue, In fact, to be going from a seat that is part manual and part power operated, the 8 position power control is a nice improvement.
Montvale should wake up.

Why do they do this, now I'm disappointed about the car.
On another note, I got a call from my dealership where I got my C-Class and they said that they have the car in. So I called today and asked if I could stop by tonight and test drive it, I have been to another dealer already but I would like to see it when it is getting dark out so I can see the interior and the new ambient lights.
The salesman calls about an hour before I'm supposed to go in and said "sorry the sales manager took the car home." I was like are you fu***** kidding me?? You get one car to demo and the manager takes it home for his enjoyment?? What the hell is wrong with MB dealers?

Yes, can get Keyless Go as options in Canada.
I think you are talking about Pre-Safe. Pro-Safe is the general safety term for MB that includes 4 components, Perform Safe (ABS, ESP, etc), Pre Safe (seat belts tightening and closing windows), Passive Safe (airbags), and Post Safe (cutting fuel supply, lowering windows, etc). Both US and Canada get only Perform Safe, Passive Safe and Post Safe. Pre Safe only available in European and Asian markets.
Yes, memory seats and telescoping wheels std on 350 and optional 300.
I am laughing here. My '01 C320 has had this problem off and on for about six years and it was quite common. The steering wheel position problem and mirror failure is caused by the driver's seat memory module. Mine has been replaced three or four times and the last time I got a good one. Easy entry and mirror tilt are now working.
Your dealer knows about this and they know how to fix it. Get on down there.
If you want them, come on up to Canada....where you can pick up keyless go too if you want it.
...also, Canada does not get the pre-safe system. That's not on any north american cars. pro-safe is the whole safety "philosophy"...talks about all kinds of features....but pre-safe is a specific system.
It's such a little thing, but such a big thing.
