reserved c class procedure

i have reserved a c class, blac on black p1 tiptronic etc. my dealer says he doesnt know when i will receive it but should i get it on august 8th, if he has inventory list that means it on the dock ready to come on the release date, right? or will it take longer.. anybody know this stuff? pleas ethank.s

i put 1000 dollars down as a deposit. he said he wouldnt know when it would come but it doesnt make sense if they have the inventory and the release date, shouldnt it come on august 7th?

I heard August 7th unless yours wasn't in the initial order the dealer made.

It may be a case of the dealer quoting a late date in order to provide some room for error, and the very realistic chance of delivering the car early.
