How's the sound system?
For those who bought the car, how does the sound system hold up? I read in another threat one of the potential buyers decided not to buy the w204 but rather wait to buy an w204 which included the multimedia package.

Sound system . . .
C350 here. Standard sound plus six changer and Sirius. Strong undistorted highs mixed with substantial bass. Excellent separation. Surprised at how satisfied I am. Would have paid for the better sound given the choice. This works out fine though . . . no need for more speakers and stronger amp.. Car's great so far. Zero issues. Pete

Standard, normal sound!
Yep . . . the base system. I'm amazed at how satisfying it is. Car, btw, is really perfect. 1000 miles, almost. . . . zero issues . . no rattles, strong quiet A/C. Body is very tight, rigid. Peter

I was used to the H/K of the wagon wich have a Sub in the trunk... much better sound than in the w203 sedan

2008 C350 and 2003 Z4 3.0
I was going to buy a C300 with standard sound and while I was signing papers my wife complained about the sound system as it did not compare with our H/K system in our '05 C230.
I canceled and ordered a C300 with MM. Then dealer gets a C350 with standard sound and P2 and offers it to me with a $500 discount and a $250 Visa card from MB Financial. I purchase the C350. The sound system is very good as is the Sirius radio. We did not trade the '05 C230 so everybody is happy.
