All 2008 C-Class navigation systems are hard-drive based, similar to the ones in the new CL and S-Class models.

The Multimedia package has a 30 gig hard drive, 5 gig of which is reserved for music you load. No more cd/dvd.
BTW, my car's production date is next week and yesterday I got a trade-in figure from my dealer, good for two months. With the sales tax credit, it's nearly retail and I'm satisfied. The used car manager wants me to leave the chromed AMG monoblocks on it. So, the new owner will find out soon enough that the Bridgestone RE050A PP tires cannot be driven in snow.
The next thing is to get the part numbers for the stock C350 Sport 17" wheels so I can start calling around for prices., since my dealer charges retail plus a substantial markup for parts.
I am not in love with the Luxury's wheels, to say the least, but they can be my winter wheels with suitable tires. The Conti tires as delivered will have to go as soon as I get the C350 AMGs.

Till now was a dvd/cd since now we have a hard drive how we put the map updates on it!?
I bougth the car without knowing it LOOL
