2008 Arctic White C300 Sport 6M
First time checking out this thread. Now I contribute.
I ordered my car back in December 31st, 2007, and received it on February 29th, 2008. I didn't have much of a choice in options, because my dealer swiped the car from some poor guy in the midwest.
I really wanted an Arctic White 6-speed ASAP. Still got here a month late.
2008 Arctic White C300 Sport (SA build)
6 speed manual transmission (free option)
Black MB-Tex (free option)
P1
Pano Roof
AMG 18" option
$32,500 + tax + lic.
I think it was something like $37,XXX OTD. I thought that was a fair price, at the time.
Thoughts?

Nobody's calling anyone a liar here, but this seems like an unbelievable deal. Perhaps the dealer wanted to get rid of the 08 stock before the 09s start rolling in... In any case, unbelievable numbers. Congrats.

Decided. When I buy our 350 in the next coming months i'm PAYING ORIE to fly out to the bar area and do the deal. I thought I was good, but nearly 20% below invoice is fan freaking tastic

well you have to consider he only paid 3% for tax and license. we're paying 10-11% in CA. That makes a $2000 difference, but yea he still did a great job with invoice off $5000.

Carsdirect is now showing $6200 off msrp for a 2008 C-350 in Southern California. I could have saved another $1,000 if I'd waited a week.
Oh well... at least I got my pick of the litter!!

Was thinking of waiting for the 2009 as the memory seats are a major issue for me, but such a deal may be too good to pass up -- that might be worth be a drive for me as well. Questions, if you don't mind:
(i) The lowest price paid I had previously seen was about 2.2k below invoice. Was there any July-specific incentive?
(ii) Did you have a trade-in and/or did you finance? In the affirmative, did you receive fair deals on those?
(iii) Who was your salesman?
Feel free to PM if you prefer not to post the answer. Thanks!
