merecedes c200k 2009
50,000 for a c200k , non xenon, non multimedia, 16 inch rims.
Mercedes are very expensive here in Dominican Republic. For example, a fully loaded 350 cost here over 70,000

Sounds like a good deal. They won't budge much from it, but you can say you want it for $389 a month, see what they say. That's what I did (be firm about it) and they guy just did it.

In sept. of 2009, I got a 2008 Sport, c300 4matic, p2, Ipod, navigation, with 11k miles, cpo, for a few bucks under 34k. Out the door, including tax, tittle, etc.... Great dealership, awesome experience.

Placed an order on a 2010 C250 CGI Sport. It costs 70k here in Hong Kong, but I suppose there are places with even higher taxes.

2010 C300 Sport, 2007 335i Sedan
Currently working on a 2010 C300 sport, arctic white on black, agility pkg, panoramic sunroof, multimedia pkg, ipod, satellite, burl walnut wood, auto.
Sticker: $42,255
Deal:
$1500 drive off
15K miles
36 months
$478/month
$520/month includes tax
In California

I don't see how people are paying sub $400/month even with only $3000 down.

Is my deal good?

I don't lease so I can't comment on that. However, I do suggest you go with the bigger motor and get the 350. The power difference is very noticeable, IMHO.

Agreed on that, but looking to save money. The money factor is much better right now on C300's than C350's. So in addition to paying a few thousand more for the bigger engine equating to nearly $80/month extra, the rate makes it go up even more.

It's not that great a price. That is a starting point for him, and he's charging a higher money factor. Ask what the cap cost is.

Good luck.

Good luck.
Cap cost was around $38K+, sticker $42,265.

I compared to their plain vanilla deal on the web which was sticker $38,265, $36,600 cap cost, $4100 drive off for $349/month before tax but with only 10K miles per year.

Seems, my car has a $3K higher sticker and only $2K higher cap cost + $2600 less drive off making the cash difference between plain vanilla and my deal about +$4600. Divide that over 36 months comes to about $130/month. Add that to the advertised deal, you get $479/month which is exactly the deal I have, except my deal includes 15K miles.

What can I tweak here to get a better deal?

Wait, I think my math is screwed up here. Not sure how but I used the published lease rate on 10K/year 36 months which is 0.00057 with 58% residual and I'm able to get to the $349/month advertised.

I should therefore be able to use the same rate but lower residual of 55% on my car with higher cap and less down. When I use that rate, I get a much lower payment. I calculate $486.74/month including tax. If I use the higher rate for 24 month leases, 0.00092, I get to $510/month including tax.

Just talked to the dealer. Exact numbers are:

$42,255 MSRP
Cap Cost: $38,736
$1500 drive off
55% residual
36 months
15K/year
Money Factor they were using: 0.00077

This is higher than the June published rate for same of 0.00057 but as I mentioned, if I work backwards using the published numbers on the C300 rate on the MBUSA website, I come to the same money factor, 0.00057.

Shouldn't I be able to get that same rate for my car as spec'ed??

2012 C-180T CDI Avantgarde, BlueEFFICIENCY with AMG package/Styling.
This is so unfair.

I paid around 65k $ for my 2009 C-180 kompressor Avantgarde BlueEfficiency with full AMG packaged in Norway.
I got my car shipped from Germany and if i dont remember wrong my car did cost 29k EURO in Germany.
But because of all the tax ruels etc. here in norway my car ended up with 65k $.
Should i buy the same car as i have now in Norway new ,it will end up around 80k $.
In the US i can probably get 2 C-300 for price of my car.Thats unfair <-- lol
But then again we buy our cars,we dont lease them

I'd try to get the money factor down- they try to mark that up so worth negotiating.

The cap cost is a fair discount.

The problem with the 2010's is that a car that has the desired options will become more difficult to locate. If these has the color and options, go for it.

They located it and they're trying to get it. I have a call in about the money factor right now... I want 0.00057, not 0.00077. If I get the lower rate, this is a done deal... I don't care if the 2011 has LED DRL's then!

They'll give me 0.00067. That brings the payment down to $472+$41 tax = $513/month including tax, $1500 drive off.

So, since the first month is $472 and the Acq. fee is $795, that means they're pocketing the remaining $233 rather than using it as Cap Cost reduction. Not too bad.

If I got the 0.00057, the payment would be $7/month less or $252 less total. Again, not a big difference.

All this seems pretty darn good although I still don't understand the other deals people posted. They didn't include their rates/residuals/all terms though so it is hard to compare.

Now, I just need to insist upon the Media Card reader...

They'll throw floor mats in, right? Anything else?
