Just Ordered!!!
guys,
Im a noob but been lurking around the forum for a while. I just placed an order for a C300 sport. Here is what I got:
Mars Red
Black MB Tex
6spd manual
Premium II
18"
I got November allotment so I should have the car christmas time. Now I have to play the waiting game. I am really excited and cant wait
. I hope you guys are having fun with the car (who ever already took delivery). I am jealous!!!

Would be nice though if MB could give each buyer an access code in NetStar limited to just checking the progress of their car. Would definately make the dealers happy I'm sure.

Congratulations.... unforunately, you're not the first with the Mars Red. But it's certainly a nice colour. And I wish they still made the 3.5L with the six-speed manual. Yet another way to keep the car all to myself.

Only for those of you who CHOOSE to interpret it that way. We are on an auto forum. I am aware of the other meanings of KKK, but considering the context, it is suprising how people will ignore the obvious for the pleasure of drama.

At the same time, I appreciate the people are being more political sensitive nowadays. That's not necessarily a bad thing -- but recognition that we live in a multicultural world.

It just goes to show the prevalence of the Klan... that everyone know about it. I think that's good news.
At the same time, I appreciate the people are being more political sensitive nowadays. That's not necessarily a bad thing -- but recognition that we live in a multicultural world.

I do not see how my knowledge of the Klan shows it prevelance, I was born in the US. More importantly, it would be bad news for people to be aware of them, the more awareness they have, the more power they have. If they were not known and feared, they would be powerless, and eventually fade away (who will join/support a group they do not know about).
Why should people be more sensitive, when it only makes things more difficult? If you do not like something, then stop looking at it, listening to it, etc. Or do you think that you should not be allowed to drive your car in front of soeone's house because they find it offensive, after all, Hitler only drove MB. Nobody should attempt to block expression because they do not like it, ***** did that. North Korea, China, and several other dictatorships follow suit.
Like I said, why in an automotive forum would something clearly automotive in nature be given false attribution.

I unfortunately did not listen to the stereo without the multimedia package and i dont imagine it will sound that bad. I am sure that it will be better than my current 02 honda civic.

Congrats. I was looking at that exact car in the Mercedes show room the other day. all I have to say is HOT , so so Hot!!! Your goning to love it. I could not get past how sharp that car looks in Mars red.

Just got some bad news!!
My sales guy didnt know that my car was going to be built in South Africa. As a result he miss calculated the delivery date when I order the car labor day weekend (3 months ago today). So now I am not expected to get my car till end of January. I am really pissed off
. He is going to try and find the exact car I want elsewere in the states. If he cant, I am asking for a heft discount on the car for his error.
