Just curious, what aftermarket HID kit did you go with? About how much and how hard was it to install? Also are those 6000? I had the 6K Xenondepot.com kit in my old Integra and they looked about the same color as what you have.

I think what you've is overall, pretty good in appearance. It's your car and I
think you should configure it with whatever you feel makes you happy.
Aesthetics and function can be divergent goals.

People will judge you based on their subjective evaluation your car, ie a
reflection on the owner. To some, this is important. In the end, if you're
proud of it, it matters little how others view you or your vehicle. Enjoy.

Unless they're going to help you pay insurance or make car payments.....
you should just enjoy it and accoutre as you see fit. How the hunnies
view your car may be important as well.

Is Xtronic, I think is 8000k or 8500k..I had it done at a local Hi Tect shop for $400 with installation. And it took them about 30 mins to do it..

and maybe I mite taket hat emblem off after all

The emblem is not really that bad, don't listen to what the other people say. I'd take it off and put it on the right side of the trunk tho if you had to move it.

Just a hint (online forums usually don't like people putting ///AMG emblems on the car so keep it on the down low)

The lights look sexy

2008 C300 Sports, AMG 18 inch wheels, MM package, 6000K HID Kit, 20% 3M tinted all around
any warning light on dash?

Your headlight looks awsome with the new HID kit, I have been waiting someone with P1 package only to do this job, and thank you for posting these pics.

Do you have any warning light shows on your dash after you installed it?

I think Kase1 really didn't want to put an AMG badge on his fender. He was actually looking at "DaCeptak0n is an idiot"......but it would not fit.

Guys, I would really appreciate it if someone could post the pics for the standard halogen headlight and the bi-xenon one. My C280 is coming with standard halogens but it has a lens inside!
The dea;er told me that the xenon ones are worth 3000 $ !!! so i am thinking of installing an aftermarket one.

These are the halogen projectors:

These are the bi-xenon projectors;

Is that what you're looking for? The two assemblies differ slightly.

8000K is a little blue for my tastes and it dramatically reduces visiblity which is a must where I live. Personally I like it around the 4300K-6000K range but if you like it go ahead.

As mentioned in post #12, the halogen assemblies weren't made for the light pattern HIDs put out so you would be blinding everyone (some or most of the time) in the opposite direction.

Well blinding other motorists on the way is a bit of a problem, but i guess there is no other choice

The original Bi-xenon headlights worth 3200 $ here in Egypt!!!

How many little 318 wheezers have you seen with the M badge on the back? Those that know the truth just smile.

the real c63 doesnt look like the sport models anyways. so remove the badge, this sport kit is just that, sport kit (now the C55 and c230 were the same body kit (pretty much)

Look in the c63 forum for real AMG pics. they changed it so the lower end cars dont match.

Mind you I do love the 08 sport body.

8K will actually be purple, not blue. Anything below 6K has a blue tinge to it. Ideally you want something around 4300K to 5100K for optimum light output.

The higher the Kelvin (color temperature) the lower the output of light. Hence, nearly every OEM uses and reccomends 4300K HID bulbs.
