130 photos and 10 pages of Tech specs for the Estate

For anyone even remotly considering the Estate, this is the link to check out. I did my best to keep count and came up with almost 130 photos and 10 pages of press releases, from model range, design, chassis, tech data, etc.

Anyway, you get the idea...it is everything you could ever want to know about the estate from inseption to release. Enjoy!

In response to my question - Estate to US in 2008 or 2009? MBUSA advises by email that they have no plans to bring the Estate to the US.

When they bring one with memory seats, I will buy it.

Estate in the US

Probably depends on the price since there is competition in cars that size. Sales disappeared on the W203 version so it was withdrawn.

+1. I need to replace a Passat, and the C350T (or wagon, or estate, or whatever they call it :-) ) is currently the best choice. The lack of memory seats and power steering wheel, however, are annoying

For those interested, AutoCar has just reviewed a C320TD:

I need to replace my E320 Estate.

I am either going to get a 3 series touring with a diesel or a C-Class estate with a diesel.

I am thinking that I will probably end up with the BMW since they have already said that they are going to release diesels in 2008, but haven't said what cars yet. Either way, they currently import the touring model.

Mercedes needs to start importing the C-Class with the diesel engine. I don't want/need the 320 CDI engine, but think that the 220 CDI and 280 CDI would be a perfect match for me. I would prefer the 280 CDI engine in the Estate.

Please Mercedes Canada, import the C280 CDI Estate and you will have my order right away. Make it available with the same packages as the sedan and dump the horrible sport grille in the sport models. Make it a no chanrge option for those that want it, but I want the regular grille and hood star with my sport estate.

I forgot to add that no matter what Estate model we get, make sure it has 4Matic for me.

A 280 CDI Estate 4Matic Sport (with Elegance grille and hood star) would be perfect!
