Mercedes does offer the Designo collection, but the entry fee for that is 6 grand! Intrestingly enough, the Designo options are not listed on the build your own website, but are in the back of the brochures.

My brochure doesn't mention anything about the Designo series. To my knowledge MBUSA hasn't offered a designo-edition C-Class. The designo editions have always been expensive - that's the price you pay for exclusivity.
