Miami C-Drive
I went to the Miami one last weekend. Quick breakdown of events...
- Free valet parking upon arrival.
- Quick and painless electronic check-in.
- Expert's presentation of the new C along with espressos, desserts, and other goodies.
- Harmon/Kardon testing. The system is simply a MUST!
- 5 minute wait to drive the C along a roughly 5 mile long route.
Overall, it was a pretty good experience. You get to play around with all the car's features for as long as you want. Here is a link to some vids that I shot there:

2000 BMW X5
jersey checkin in
-road coarse sucked as it was maybe a mile (guess that is what happens when you are the most densly populated state)
-if you waited a good 30 seconds at the starting line in the track corse, the car showed you it could do some things for a little lux car. NO body roll on tight turns. Lot of oversteer, but its a benz, so that is expected.
I found a peppy little car that can change its face and be respected when I need to be Mr. Elegant. The C Drive letting me open one up (really burn some tires) sealed the deal for me getting a C

MBWorld Fanatic!
I had great experience in SF. I think MB did right job offering the event. I liked new C class much more after event, however I won't purchase it due missing some luxury features for US model.

Los Angeles Checking in
Went to the one in Santa Monica, CA. I test drove a C350 sport decked out with everything. It was awesome, smooth. Feels ALOT 'tighter' than my c230K. Alot bigger too, feels and looks more expensive. The Nav was good. Only sucky part? it was done on residential streets, LOTS of stop signs. Couldnt really tell if car was faster than mine, to tell you the triuth it actually felt slower from stop sign to stop sign. But man ,it felt so 'tight' no rattles at all.
