OK I am thinking of getting a white c300 4matic. I really don't want the amg wheels because it then gives me a summer tire + a harder ride. Come to think of it, I can use that $3300 elsewhere.

What does everyone think of these. Machine faced. 0Z 35th anniversary wheels. 17"

2008 C300 Sport 4matic
looks nice, though a little too busy looking for my taste.
Luckily those wheels have a black painted interior, otherwise all those tiny spokes would be a real pain to clean.
OZ makes a high quality wheel.

Have you considered the OZ Ultraleggera or the OZ Carnova silver?
I think they look pretty nice.

This is what they look like a little better. Does anyone know of a similar many spoke wheel, painted black or gray (gunmedal/powder coated)

Looks awesome. Take them. Do not think about cleaning much, I have rims which look as easy to clean but they not.

if i may add... From the 1st pic posted they look powdercoated (look i want)

However, check post #4 and you see they are machined with black accent.

What about these wheels down here, and if i powdercoated them.. would they look the same you think? Hell, can I powdercoat those oz 35th anniversarys if i wanted to?

heres the other wheels:

Both versions look a little too much like the factory options. If I'm going to spend all that cash on rims, I'm going to go with something completely different than what the factory offers. But thats just my opinion.

The 2nd set looks like the AMG 18's that you can get for $1000 as a factory option. I really like the looks of those...as well as the 17" AMG rims on the 350

$1000 option where? I am looking at getting the C300 4matic.. its a $3290 option for 18" amg wheels.

It is a factory option that can be pre-ordered if you have the car built and it is $1000 (vs. 3290 dealer cost). That being said...I'm not sure you can order them in the 4matic because of the wheel offset, but you may want to check into it (I have not).

None of those I'd bother spending money on. They look cheap and heavy. Which is going to make the ride worse than a light weight 18" would.

Brochure says a no go on the AMG wheel package and 4matic, the offset wheels would tear up the diff on the 4matic.
