First Recall
I just got a phone call from my Dealership on my 2008 C300 4MATIC that there is a recall. The dealer mentioned something that they need to remove the front strut and add a lubricant or sealant. Has anyone else heard of this recall? Car is scheduled for service first week of November.

Most likely a service bulletin and not a recall...car manufactors don't like the word recall, recall also usually refers to an outside party making a manufactor do the recall. Haven't heard of this one yet, be nice to see if others are getting calls, or if its just falls under the many service bulletins MB puts out and does at your servicings with you knowing lol.

Lol hope not, I got one coming in December too. MB is good at this though, when I ordered my ML I was supposed to get it on a certain date, but was informed that there was a service bulletin and it was in a holding lot until they could preform the service before it left the factory. If not, the dealership will do it when they prep your vehicle.

True, some people don't read their service papers after they drop their vehicles off for servicing. They perform the service bulletins on your car when you drop it off for oil changes, servicing, ect. and they will post on your documentation what services were preformed on your car. Sometimes there are service bulletins monthy to fix strange things that you never even noticed were wrong ha ha. At least they keep on top of things for us.
