Maybe I'm just a one-off ... and usually I check this with every new car regardless, but this time I didn't ... but I ended up doing a couple of long trips with seriously ganked tire pressures.
When measured cold this weekend after my car'd sat all week (wife was out of town so I drove her Q7 ... I love that thing).
LF: 19.5psi
RF: 41psi
LR: 24psi
RR: 33psi
As testament to the platform though, I never felt anything to indicate my tire pressures were that wonky. No pulling, no tramlining, nothing. In my BMWs if you had one tire off by more than 1psi you'd get the car wandering in the opposite direction.

That's great advice! Last year I had my tire blow while driving home from my delivery of my new Saab 2006 convertible!! After waiting for AAA for 2 hours on the side of the highway, he said that the area of the blow out (side wall) was due to low tire pressure. When he checked the other 3 tires they were all lower by 10 psi.
I got all the information, took pictures of the bad tire and a statement from the AAA guy and sent the bill for a new tire to the dealer. They did reimburse 100% only if I promised to give them a 100% customer rating when Saab called. What nerve! I never did get a call from Saab.

Table says warm up to +3 psi so these are warm tire pressures. If you had a cold pressure of +3 psi your tires were about 6 psi overinflated. No worries though because - at least in euro cars with 225/17 tires - pressure for driving with heavy loads and/or over 130 mph is specified (separately) at much higher values, as high as +10 psi for the rear tires, if I remember correctly. You get 4 different sets of pressure in all. light load under 130 MPH, light load over 130 MPH, heavy load under 130 MPH and heavy load over 130 MPH.
