If you don't want to be seen as a tool then I suggest you remove the AMG badge ASAP. You don't have an AMG. I don't care what your rims say. You are only fooling yourself. We are trying to save you from embarrasment....no flaming here....just help. Real AMG people will laugh at you. I already did when I saw the pic.

I actually find it quite amusing that you guys get so twisted about the whole AMG thing. As I said before, I did it for the aesthetic factor, not because I was pretending that I had the real AMG. So for those of you who get a laugh out of it, enjoy! I will be busy

Great looking car. As far as the AMG emblem, its your car do what ever makes you happy.
From the MBUSA site describing the C350... "Along with AMG styling". The car has more influence from AMG then just a set of wheels. Not sure when it ever became a requirement that you must also have an AMG tuned motor to be able to have an AMG emblem. Now if it didn't have style elements (ground effects) and wheels by AMG then I would recommend to remove it.
When my wife's car is delivered, I might put the emblem on it. If anyone ever comments about it when I am out with her, I'll tell them that I found the extra emblem in the door pocket of my SL55 and figured I would make the cars match. BTW, I would never consider putting it on my S430.

Wow... (didn't think I'd say this but) the Mars Red looks nice. Gutsy choice, IMHO, but turned out well. Leave the AMG tag there if it gets you off. There'll always be haters out there.

Wasn't trying to run down your car or you for that matter. The car looks beautiful in Mars red. I always thought the w203 looked awful in Mars red, its nice to see that it works good with the w204. As for the emblem...hey if it makes you happy it can't be that bad. Its just not my bag baby.

The tint looks great. I have the same setup as you, cept 15% and the same strip on the front Feels like a racecar from inside since there windshield feels smaller, if you know what I mean haha.

Just ask yourself one thing....if the car has so much AMG on it then why didn't it come with a badge from the factory. Why did the dealer have to put it on for you? Hey, if it helps you sleep better at night then go for it. But don't be surprised when people drive by you pointing and laughing.

My opinion has always been to each his own....but if you really want to pull it off, switch the C350 to C63 and leave the AMG badge. It will be easy to tell the two apart for those in the know, but your average guy on the street won't know any better. Then you can tell everyone it is an AMG if that is what you are going for.
I think the C350 speaks for itself and is a very nice car. I feel no need to imply that it is anything other than what it is.

AMG Logos on a Non-AMG Model
My rims say AMG on it... but I don't have an AMG engine. Does it mean that people are going to laugh at me? Should I cover it up?

I laugh at people that have an AMG badge on there Mercs without them actually being an AMG. We know that the package is AMG and we respect that. Leave the badging for the real thing though. Another problem is that if you have an AMG badge and loose a race with a car that's par to yours you make the other driver think he just beat an AMG and it makes the real AMG cars look bad.
