What Percent tint are you thinking? If you are getting it tinted, you might want to do feltskin. The older C-classes had a problem with tint getting scratched up but I don't know if they solved this issue for the 08 model.

It's the lining against the window that is a little hard on mercedes. It would scratch the tint a little bit when rolling the window up and down. Felt skin is like a soft fabric thing that goes along the lining of door panel. It's not determined by the company, but if you find a good tint shop they should know what it is. Or make sure you find a shop that covers bubbling, scratching, and purpleing.

More info on tint

I think there was a thread already about tint. You can probably find it with the search bar at the top.
Most tint shops WILL do warranty work even if under state limit, mine redid my tint when I had bubbles.
I think 20% is a good number for tint. But if you want to be safe, then 35% is good, but that is a little light.

Mars Red C350
Got my car tinted with 20% Ceramic tints all around and a strip across the front on Friday. It makes the car look even hotter!!! These are pics that I took with my BlackBerry so forgive me for the quality. I will post better ones later. Enjoy!
